This policy covers Pointfake Media’s website and the private, internal-use software Pointfake Media operates for its own production work, including the application registered with Google as “ND Ingest.”
ND Ingest is used only by Pointfake Media staff, signing in with Pointfake Media’s own Google accounts, to read performance data about Pointfake Media’s own published videos. It is not offered to the public, has no sign-up, and collects no data from anyone outside Pointfake Media.
When a Pointfake Media staff member authorizes ND Ingest with their Google account, the software reads, from that account’s own YouTube channel:
All of it concerns videos we published ourselves. We do not access viewers’ personal information, and Google does not provide it to us. Demographic figures are aggregated percentages that identify no individual.
The data is written into private Google Sheets owned by Pointfake Media and is used solely to evaluate how our own releases performed. We do not sell it, share it, transfer it to third parties, or use it for advertising or profiling.
Pointfake Media’s use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We request the minimum scopes needed to read our own channel’s data, and we use no Google user data for training generalized artificial intelligence or machine learning models.
OAuth credentials are stored on Pointfake Media’s own hardware, readable only by the account that created them. Performance data is retained in Pointfake Media’s private spreadsheets for as long as it is useful for production analysis.
Access can be revoked at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions, which immediately stops all further data collection.
This website sets no cookies, runs no analytics and no advertising, and collects no personal information from visitors.
